It’s a pleasure looking out of the window at our driveway,   you have transformed it, what a superb job.

We would certainly recommend you to anyone in the future.

A professional and happy team.

Thank you very much.

Tina Lyne

I note that the work has been carried out and appreciate the speed that this matter has been expedited. Congratulations to all concerned for their input for this matter.

Ben Wright Senior Highway Technician – Kettering District Northamptonshire Highways

I wish to express my personal thanks and that of my central government colleagues, for the support Northamptonshire were able to provide during the recent severe flooding.

I understand that Northamptonshire County Council, in collaboration with partners, were able to deliver over 70,000 filled sandbags, as well as other materials, to flooded communities across Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey.

I understand this operation was achieved despite not being a capability you would normally have in place, which makes your efforts and speed of support all the more commendable.

Your support helped Government and local responders provide protection to critical infrastructure and local communities who were at threat of flooding and were therefore spared the hardship they may else have endured.

Please accept my personal thanks to you, your emergency planning team and all those individuals and organisations that came together to make this operation possible.

Brandon Lewis MP Parliamentary Under Secretary of State Department for Communities and Local Government

Please accept our thanks for your involvement in resolving the issues with the Upper to Lower Catesby road, the work carried out in resurfacing is a significant improvement over the previous poor condition of this stretch.

I have had a number of delighted residents contact me with their thanks, so I happy to pass this on to yourselves and your colleagues for your part in the improvements.

Let us hope they are long lasting.

Darren Jackson Chairman Catesby Parish Meeting

Roger Walpole, Chairman of the Parish Council asked me to write to you on his behalf and that of all the the Parish Councillors to express their grateful thanks for the effort you have exerted in improving the highways in Sibbertoft and surrounding areas. You and your team have done a sterling job and your efforts are very much appreciated by everyone at Sibbertoft Parish Council. The village is due to come under the spotlight on Open Garden Sunday 27th July when we are expecting a large influx of visitors for this popular event, as a result your timing could not have been more opportune.

Therefore on behalf of the Chairman and Parish Councillors, thank you.

Michele Brookes Clerk Sibbertoft Parish Council

The good folk of Cogenhoe and Whiston are always fair : fair in their criticism and fair in their praise. I am pleased to pass on their appreciation for a job very well done in re-surfacing Station Road and associated pavement repairs.

One lady was heard to utter the word “brilliant” at their Parish Council meeting last night.  So please pass on a hat tip to all concerned. The word “more” was also heard!

Michael Clarke Councillor - Hackleton & Grange Park division Northamptonshire County Council

Just a note to say thank you for all your hard work and a brilliant job well done

Much appreciated by all.

Could you pass on our thanks to your contractors who have done an excellent job.

On behalf of David and the managers in Northamptonshire Highways and the MGWSP JV Board I would like to thank you all for your energy and efforts both in the advance preparations for the Women’s Tour and the tremendous hard work that was carried out today.

The team work and commitment demonstrated by you and your colleagues has been really heartening and makes us all very proud to be part of a great Northamptonshire Highways team.  For many weeks and months an increasing number of you and our supply chain have been involved in the final countdown to the Race Days working many hours and weekends to ensure that Northamptonshire proved to be a very fitting launch county to the Women’s Tour.  Today was a great day and thanks for your commitment, attention to detail and your focus on the safety of the riders and the public.

The Tour does not completely leave our county until tomorrow afternoon so for a number of you I know the work is not over yet and I look forward to another great day tomorrow and some more wonderful photos!

Many thanks

Louise McCann General Manager MGWSP Northamptonshire Highways
